Professor Carsten Münk

Professor of AIDS Research (W2), University Hospital, Clinic for Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Infectiology, Heinrich-Heine University, Düsseldorf, Germany.

Prof. Münk got a Biology Diploma at Carl-von-Ossietzky University in Oldenburg in 1995. Then he did his doctoral research in the Institute of Virologyat University Hamburg. Since 2008, he has become a Professor of AIDS Research (W2) at the department of Clinic for Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Infectiology in University Hospital, Heinrich-Heine University. Now, his research team mainly focuses on studying the effects of APOBEC3 and Vif on HIV.
