Andreas Reichert

Professor Andreas Reichert

Institute of Biochemistry und Microbiology I, Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf.

Andreas Reichert did his PhD research at the Institute of Zoology, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München under supervision of Prof. Dr. Svante Pääbo. He was the group leader (“Wissenschaftlicher Assistent”, C1) in the department of Prof. Dr. Walter Neupert in Adolf Butenandt Institute for Physiological Chemistry at Ludwig Maximilians-Universität München. Since 2014, he has become a W3 Professor and director of the Institute of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology I at Heinrich. Now, he is focusing on studying the roles of the deubiquitinase complex ubp3-bre5 in regulating mitophagy.
